EVCT needs your support NOW!

When Logan discovered EVCT, a service dog was with her. Logan was a junior high school student struggling with high levels of anxiety and did not feel comfortable socializing or engaging with peers. By the end of their first season at EVCT, the service dog was no longer accompanying Logan to and from school. And the following academic year, Logan set out to lead 2 student organizations at their high school: No Place for Hate and Bring Change 2 Mind. What a dramatic difference in a short period of time!

While instructors and peers at EVCT had noticed the changes in Logan, it was her mother who shared with the community that East Valley Children's Theatre was where Logan found her value and purpose, her sense of belonging.

Students like Logan deserve to have safe spaces to explore their creativity, find support and friendship, and hone their leadership skills. We can offer scholarships to kids like Logan so long as we are supported by our community. It's our privilege to make a difference throughout the East Valley and we're honored to have served this area for 26 years.

Most community youth theaters are performance-based, with a focus on high school students and beyond. EVCT is education-based, focused on all kids, from tots through age 18. We are committed to helping children develop confidence, self-esteem, character, career and life skills necessary to achieve success and fulfillment in an ever-changing world.

Logan is just one example of hundreds of lives that have been transformed by the work that we do. We think our work is incredibly important. At a time when people eagerly give to organizations that provide food, clothing, and shelter, EVCT is an organization that provides purpose and belonging, two things that make life worthwhile.
